The adidas Originals team continue to drop new colourways for the Yeezy brand. This time around, the brand has released one of its most popular Yeezy variants in an all-new colourway. We’ve already seen a few of the Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 silhouette released in 2022, with another added to the roster.
The new colourway receives a Slate and Core Black colour refresh. Its new colourway gives the Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 a neutral look, along with a more enhanced, bold branding across the sides. The sneaker features a textile upper, which sits on top of a lightweight BOOST midsole. Its design is in keeping with its streamlined shape for that added versatility.

The ‘Slate’ colour is based on a beige variant for its Primeknit upper. This is in contrast to the deep black strip running across the lateral side, which stands out prominently. The strip features the Yeezy BOOST 350 V2’s signature “SPLY-350” branding on the midfoot.
Unlike many of the previous variants, the new Slate colourway doesn’t include the pull tab on the heel. This gives it a more streamlined appearance overall. Lastly, on the upper, it also includes matching tan-coloured shoelaces.
As with all previous models, the Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 features the BOOST midsole. The BOOST-injected sole also brings with it next-level comfort and stability underfoot. This is enhanced by means of the rubber outsole for grip.

Although the sneaker will be available in family sizes in key markets, it’ll only be available in adult sizes when landing in South Africa.
The Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 Slate will be available on 3 September 2022.
It’ll retail for R4,499 and will be available online at adidas.co.za, as well as Sandton and V&A Waterfront flagship stores. It will also be available at Shelflife at its Johannesburg and Cape Town stores, as well as online.
