A short while back, adidas Originals dropped their all-new silhouette, the Deerupt, the runner-inspired design with an ultra-lightweight construction with a knitted upper. The design team have tweaked the design to launch the new Deerupt Runner silhouette, stepping out in striking colourways.
While remaining true to the original blueprint, leveraging the simple design and visual language, the release presents an original model in a slew of two-tone editions. Each iteration of the Deerupt Runner model boasts a form-hugging stretch mesh construction across the upper with a webbing overlay along with a minimalist lacing system. The design is built on top of a classic EVA midsole grid, with finishing touches that include a leather heel patch with the Trefoil logo, as well as a durable rubber outsole and an Ortholite® sockliner for optimum comfort.
The Deerupt Runner sees new colourways in the form of various fluorescent and pastel hues, which create a playful new take on the original and emphasises the silhouette’s powerful formula of disruptive simplicity. There are three new colourways available, which include Hi-Res Blue/Hi-Res Blue/Core Black, Ftwr White/Ftwr White/Core Black and Ftwr White/Ftwr White/Clear Lilac.
The new adidas Originals Deerupt Runner will retail for R1,899, and will be available at adidas Originals stores, select retailers and www.adidas.co.za.
