When adidas Originals launched the first range from the Tubular collection back in November 2014, it took the world by storm. Fast-forward a few years, and Tubular is challenging the rules and conventions of ‘high fashion’, as it aims to disrupt the status quo.
As has been the case in recent years, fashion has connected the streets to the catwalk, highlighting the current view that “street rules fashion, not the other way around.” This season, adidas Originals drops the new and improved Nova range. Featured among the new silhouettes from the range is the Tubular Rise, perhaps the boldest iteration of the philosophy. The Rise features a tonal tan colourway along with a Primeknit upper, structured by a large suede midfoot cage and elastic heel counter.
Alongside the Rise, the collection also includes a number of other silhouettes, including the Dawn, Tubular Doom PK, Doom Sock, and Doom Sock PK version.
The updated Tubular range drops this September, and will be available at adidas Originals stores, adidas.co.za, AREA3 and various other retailers across the country.
