Following numerous successful launch campaigns throughout April, including the Yeezy Boost 700 Analog, adidas Originals has introduced another ’90s-inspired classic with a fresh new redesign in the form of the adidas Originals OZWEEGO.
Based on the OZWEEGO 3 silhouette, which was originally launched in 1998, the team has introduced a new lightweight interpretation of the ’90s cushion runner.
The updated silhouette has a modern twist for sneakerheads of today, featuring defined midsole lines. Elements remain from the original design, include the eye stay panel and altered ’90s detailing brought together by a translucent support tube.
The silhouette adds to its innovative legacy with the inclusion of adiPRENE and adiPRENE+ for maximum comfort, merging one of adidas‘ most advanced technologies with a classic silhouette.
The upper includes a classic mesh, suede and TPU finish, countered with fabric lining rendered in a nostalgic white colour with solar yellow and blue accents.
The adidas Originals OZWEEGO is set for worldwide release on 22 June 2019 and will be available on adidas online and various retailers across the country.
