The Spezial by Union campaign features modern-era B-Boys who are forwarding the art form, staying true to the brand’s history and remaining committed to the forwarding the subculture.
The Spezial by Union collection highlights the B-Boy culture from both sides of the Atlantic, with reference to the DIY heritage of the Terrace culture in the UK, and the B-Boy culture that grew out of New York in the 1980s. In terms of the colourways, the first is inspired by the 1994 colourway iteration of the adidas 350, while the second silhouette by the British premium suede upper. The silhouettes include a dog tag with the Union and Spezial graphic imprinted onto it. The sneakers feature a predominantly clean aesthetic, with accented stitching on the upper and wide lace eyelets. The sole is rubberised, which is featured in gum on the second silhouette.
