A Closer Look At The Design
This incredible custom design sees the classic silhouette cut off at the ankle, transforming the Samba into a stylish mule. But aside from the apparent chop, these kicks are also covered in hairy cowhide material, buttery sail leather, and a hint of suede at the toe, making them exceedingly drool-worthy (perhaps, even more so then your average Samba). The designer has also incorporated two sets of laces onto each shoe, as well as jagged brown trim around the tongue and eye stays for an extra burst of detail.
Is There a Real Adidas Mule?
While adidas has already converted several of its popular sneaker styles, such as the Superstar and the Stan Smith, into mules, they haven’t yet done the same with the Samba. Perhaps Sean’s fantastic Cowhide Mule design will inspire Adidas to push the Samba down another path. But for the time being, we have this incredible custom pair to entice all Samba fans.
