adidas Originals Gets Squishy with the Latest ZX 2K Pack

Back in May, adidas Originals launched the rebooted ZX 2K BOOST sneaker.

This was followed by two additional colourways in July to bring some colour to the pack.

adidas Originals has added more squish to the mix with the release of four new ZX sneakers.

The ZX sneaker was originally launched back in 1984, which was on the cutting edge of technology for a running shoe at the time.

Fast-forward to 2020 and the updated version sees modern sneaker technology enhance the reimagined ZX 2K sneakers.

The original sneaker was launched as a proving ground for new tech. Today, the sneaker has proven itself with a rich history of innovation, providing unique qualities for wearers of the ZX 2K BOOST.

For the latest campaign, adidas Originals focuses on comfort over everything else, whatever the form it may take. As such, the brand introduces four new ZX sneakers: the ZX 2K BOOST and ZX 2K FLUX, with two striking new colour palettes.

The adidas Originals ZX 2K BOOST sneaker brings with it two new colourways. Each pair features a wrapped BOOST tooling. The sneakers are bright and bold in striking ombre colour-palettes.

The women’s pair is crafted from a clean white mesh upper, with a vivid gradient sole, which fades from shocking pink to blue.

The men’s pair takes the forward-thinking aesthetic to a comfy new dimension with a white mesh upper and contrasting stripes, which transition from blue to solar red on the sole.

The ZX 2K FLUX celebrates the surreal with wraparound gradients and splashes of colour across the silhouette.

The sneaker also includes men’s and women’s variants.

The women’s sneaker features contrasting black stripes, blue hits, shock pink accents, and an all-white Adiprene X outsole.

The men’s sneaker has a white mesh upper with contrasting shock pink stripes and a gradient outsole which transitions from shock pink at the toe to blue at the heel.

adidas Originals brings more squish, more squeeze and more comfort to the ZX 2K BOOST. The next chapter launches this week, 1 October, and will be available online at adidas.co.za and adidas Originals stores, retailing from R2,299.
