Just a few short weeks back, adidas and Beyoncé sent the sneaker and lifestyle community into a frenzy with the second drop from the adidas x IVY PARK Beyonce range. This week they’re at it again. The duo has announced the Drip 2.2 collection, an extension of the second drop.
For the Drip 2.2 collection, the adidas Originals team has once again pushed the boundaries of traditional performance wear. The design team delivered a collection that can easily transitions from functional to stylish and everything in between. And it’s always inclusive.
While the first drop from the second collection featured a mix of soft pastel colours, the Drip 2.2 is rendered in mesa, black and white. The new styles illustrate the relentless work ethic, which is also as innovative as their creator.
The Drip 2.2 extends the range of adidas X Ivy Park Beyonce sneakers. This includes the Ultra Boost, Super Sleek 72 and Forum Mid silhouettes. The collection has been updated with new colourways for each. As a result, it offers unique, bold and fresh collection of sneakers – moving you from the gym to the streets with ease.
In addition to the updated colours, the footwear reinterprets the classic adidas silhouettes with modern technologies. One of these features includes the incorporation of innovative lacing and hook systems. This allows the wearer to clip the shoes to the Ivy Park gym bag when on the move.
As always, the adidas x IVY PARK Beyonce range is all about inclusivity. As such, all the apparel from the Drip 2.2 collection is available in sizes ranging from XXS to 2XL. Pricing for the apparel starts at R449. The IVY PARK sneakers are priced around R3,499.
The adidas x IVY PARK Beyonce Drip 2.2 collection is set to drop exclusively online at adidas.co.za on 18 November 2020. The collection will then be available in adidas stores from 19th November 2020 across the country.
