It’s been a busy two years for the adidas Originals and Beyoncé partnership. The adidas X Ivy Park collaboration has seen quite a significant number of drops during this time and is back for the fifth instalment ahead of the festive season. The team has now launched the HALLS of IVY collection.
With the tagline “Welcome to HALLS of IVY”, the collection is not bound by any labels or format. It was designed to be inclusive in order to unit people, irrespective of their background, class, colour or creed. The campaign is seen as a community that fosters an individual’s creative endeavour.
HALLS of IVY has created pieces for both adults and kids. It is the figurative space that is somewhere between where you are now, and where you aspire to be.
The campaign for the collection features some surprising new names alongside Beyoncé. This includes celebrity kids such as Blue Ivy and Rumi Carter (Beyoncé’s kids), Natalia Bryant (Kobe), Ava and Deacon Phillippe (Reece Whitherspoon). Other celebs include James Harden and Jalen Green alongside a cast of diverse models.
The HALLS of IVY Collection
The collection aims to allow you to find your own voice through self-expression. Connecting with one another and sharing a space with like-minded people. As a result, the design cues are based on philosophy, presenting classic fashion and infused with individual style, swagger and spirit.
The idea behind this is to follow your wildest dreams. And with this in mind, the collection features vibrant colours, glen plaids, houndstooth patterns and structural tailoring. All of this is brought together with unique concepts and reimagined through the power of fierce individuality. The unique elements include a patchwork puffer, a sequin duster, a bralette, a pair of knitted pants, a romper, a faux leather skirt and a bodysuit. This also includes a few stylish takes on kidswear.
In total there are 77 different apparel styles from the adult HALLS of IVY collection and one sneaker, the Ultraboost. In addition, it includes 10 accessory styles. Colours from the collection include Black, Wild Pine, Semi Solar Slime, Dark Blue, Brown, DGH Grey, Medium Grey Heather, Clear Grey, Chalk White and Cloud White. And, as always, the sizing is inclusive as well. Sizes range from XS-4XL and 1X-4X.
The collection is set to drop on 9 December 2021 online at adidas.co.za. It’ll then be available at adidas Originasl stores from 10 December.
Stores include Sandton City, V&A Waterfront, Gateway, Mall of Africa, Menlyn and Canal Walk at both Men’s and Women’s stores.
