This month marks the 3rd anniversary since the first official drop from the adidas collaboration with Beyoncé. For its latest collection, adidas ends a mini hiatus of the Ivy Park range in South Africa. The adidas X Ivy Park brings with it the new Park Trail collection, a new rule-breaking and trail-blazing expression of performance wear.

As the name of the collection suggests, the collection was inspired by the outdoors. It infuses this with the spirit of the streets and ushers in the possibilities of the future.
Although it brings in new designs and themes, it still offers that classic Ivy Park aesthetic. This includes an inclusive range of pieces with gender-neutral sizing and fashion styles. It also offers a mix of performance gear, footwear and accessories – the quintessential Ivy Park ensemble.
With the new Ivy Park Trail collection, it’s all about reaching your destination and exploration no matter the setting. Whether you’re scaling your next summit or training for the next event, you can explore inward to reach that peaceful state of mind. An expedition worth taking. The collection honours the outdoors, while also celebrating that urban adventure.

The Park Trail Collection

As stated, the collection is split into the apparel, footwear and accessories. The apparel collection inspires you to embark on your own journey. Whether this is your training goals or other, it brings with it a gritty and glamourous appeal.
It is a versatile collection to suit your requirement. As such, it features quite a diverse list of materials for that premium look. This includes elevated fabrics, powerful iconography, prints, sequins, camouflage, while also incorporating a utilitarian convertibility.
Colours have always been an important aspect of any Ivy Park collection. That’s no different with the Park Trail offering. The mix of colours here includes Sol Ange (solar orange), Mojave (focus orange), Lake-Her (legacy indigo), Denali Green (wild pine), Yosemite (purple), White Sands (cream white), Pynes (pulse lime) and rounding it off with a signature Canyon print (camo print).
For the footwear collection, it takes its cues from the adidas archives. The signature piece from this collection is the IVP Top Ten 2000 (also known as the TT2000). This shoe is based on adidas basketball sneakers from the 80s and refreshed in a modern silhouette making its debut. It’ll be available in two colourways, while including modern textures and inclusive prints and graphic accents.
Lastly, there’s the accessories. This has also been a mainstay on previous Ivy Park collections and is no different with Park Trail. The collection elevates this to a new level, with transformative, stylish, and versatile pieces. Examples of this include the convertible backpacks, bags and hats. Each of these are crafted with utilitarian accents and will be available in various colours.
Step out in style with the adidas X Ivy Park Trail collection from 9 February 2023.
