Back in 2020, adidas Originals dropped its first YZY QNTM sneaker. The range was later updated with a new colourway in the YEEZY QNTM Quantum. adidas Originals and Kanye West continue their partnership for the YZY QNTM Flash Orange drop.
The upper of the YZY QNTM Flash Orange is crafted from an embroidered mono mesh. It provides a soft, resilient thread, which has a synthetic suede overlay. This offers the wearer toe protection, as well as durability.
In addition to this, the upper also features reflective material. This is seen throughout the inner webbing and heel counter, which emit light in the dark.
Further to this, the YZY QNTM silhouette elevates the cushioning experienced. This is as a result of a re-engineered full-length drop-in boost midsole. It provides optimal comfort where consumers need it most.
It also features a semi-translucent, clear TPU cage that wraps the Boost midsole. This gives it a distinct design element to the sneaker. To round off the construction, the sneaker has a herringbone patterned rubber outsole. This provides optimal traction.
The YZY QNTM Flash Orange is set to drop this weekend on 22 May 2021. It is set to carry a retail price of R4,999.
It’ll be available online at adidas.co.za, as well as in-store at Sandton & Waterfront V&A Originals stores.
