Once again, we owe our first glance at the Air Jordan 1 High “Metallic Gold” to @zsneakerheadz. They have created a mockup design of what we can expect from the upcoming colourway. The rendering presents a chic blend of “Black”, “Metallic Gold”, and “Sail” shades, with a strong echo of the Air Jordan 1 Retro “Melo”, launched back in 2014. This “Melo” edition, inspired by NBA legend Carmelo Anthony, sported a similar black and gold theme. Despite the absence of Anthony’s logo in the 2024 design, it is a fabulous alternative for those who missed out on the limited “Melo” release.
In the proposed design, varying shades harmonise to create an arresting contrast. A rich black base is complemented by striking metallic gold highlights throughout the sneaker.
