Jordan Brand is celebrating its 40th milestone with many highly sought-after releases from yesteryear. One of the key arrivals for the Jordan 1 silhouette this year is the return of the popular “Shattered Backboard” high tops inspired by Michael Jordan’s iconic dunk during an exhibition game in Italy in 1985. However, Jordan Brand is also debuting a low-top take of the famous colourway, the Air Jordan 1 Low “Shattered Backboard”.

A Closer Look At The Sneaker

True, this AJ1 low colourway is not a perfect duplicate of the original “Shattered Backboard” high tops, but there are more parallels than differences.

Both styles include a white base with orange highlights at the toe box and heel, as well as touches of black on the toe, eyestays, and collar.

What makes the AJ1 Low different is that the side swooshes are orange instead of the usual black, and the outsole is accented with black instead of orange. So, there’s definitely enough to make it feel like a “Shattered Backboard” colourway while also offering sneakerheads something a little bit out of the ordinary.

Air Jordan 1 Low “Shattered Backboard” Release Details

The “Shattered Backboard” AJ 1 Low will be available in Summer 2025. Sneakerheads will be able to purchase a pair for $115 USD on Nike.com and at select retailers.

Other Jordan 1 Low colourways to look out for in the coming months include the trendy Air Jordan 1 Low ‘Worn Blue’, the minimalist Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Summit White”, and the nostalgic Air Jordan 1 Low OG’ Storm Blue’. While we wait for these new releases, make sure to follow Sneaker Fortress for more sneaker drops and news.
