If you’ve been following the sneaker market in recent years, it would be clear that most sneaker brands have focused heavily on their archive releases. This week’s Archive Weekly (12 September 2022) features the likes of New Balance, Converse, Nike and adidas.

Each of these brands reaches back into their archives for their latest drops.

Archive Weekly (5 September 2022): With a Splash of Colour

New Balance 550

Archive Weekly (12 September 2022) - Going Old School

A few weeks ago, the NB 550 was featured on Archive Weekly in two new colourways. On this week’s Archive Weekly (12 September 2022), the brand is back with another dual pack.

The two new colourways added to the Archive racks are the White Black Rain Cloud and the White Summer Fog Rain Cloud. As you can tell by the naming, the weather inspires the palette. More specifically, it is inspired by rain clouds.

Both sneakers will be released this coming weekend, 17 September 2022.

Converse Chuck 70 Plus Hi

Archive Weekly (12 September 2022) - Going Old School

One of the all-time classics, the Converse Chuck 70 is back for another redesign and colourway. This week, there are two colourways featured, in Black and White variants.

This variant of the Chuck 70 has a chopped and spliced midsole. This gives it a new aesthetic and distinction. While it retains the majority of its classic elements, it has been updated to be more abstract, including the upper with its varying-sized elements. This gives it a Frankenstein-like construction.

Both the Converse Chuck 70 Plus Hi is available from today, 13 September 2022.

Nike Air Max 95 Safari

The Nike Air Max 95 is another silhouette that has been featured several times on Archive Weekly. This time, the new colourway added is titled Safari.

The Christian Tresser’s anatomy and nature-inspired design has been brought to life with the new colourway. Additionally, it features a subtle tone (in Moon Fossil and Ironstone) on the lateral side and is more flamboyant on the medial side with a pop of purple hues (Viotech).

The Nike Air Max 95 Safari was available for sale from 12 September 2022.

Jeremy Scott X adidas Forum Wings 4.0

Archive Weekly (12 September 2022) - Going Old School

Designer, Jeremy Scott, is not one to hold back. He also never shies away from the unexpected. And his take on the Forum has revised the classic sneaker two fold.

The first of these is the bold colourway. It is featured in multiple standout colours, including Blue, Shock Pink and Lumo Yellow. Additionally, and which stands out more, is the winged heel. As a result, these adidas shoes are more unapologetic than ever.

The Jeremy Scott X adidas Forum Wings 4.0 is available from 16 September 2022.

Are any of the Archive Weekly (12 September 2022) sneakers on your shopping list this week?
