Nike Blazer Low Halloween

A few weeks ago, Nike announced the new Nike Blazer Low Halloween pack. It has now finally arrived on South African shores.
Originally launched as a basketball silhouette in the 80s, this classic has received a Halloween-themed makeover. It’s upper resembles that of an off-white cloth, with the Swoosh being distorted. Additionally, there is an eerie shadow to illustrate the background of a haunted house. Furthermore, it has text on the spine and various other unique branding, including the tongue.
The theme continues underneath the outsole. It has herringbone-patterned traction and takes on a witch-appropriate green to round out the costume.
Nike Dunk High Inspected By Swoosh Honeydew

Another of the Nike sneakers that have been featured on many of the Archive Weekly drops, the Nike Dunk High is back with another colourway. For this release, the Inspected by Swoosh Honeydew colourway has been announced.
As with most Dunk’s, this latest iteration has a two-tone approach. In this case, the colours feature the Summit White leather base, along with Honeydew overlays. Continuing the classic look, it sports a rubber gum outsole, with a speckled brown finish..
New Balance 550 Angora/Vintage Indigo/White

The New Balance 550 continues paying homage to the N. Another of the classics with its history in basketball in the 80s, the 550 features a leather and mesh upper. The upper is crafted in an off-white finish with a variation of blue hues on the logo, outsole and detailing. The colourway is formally listed as Angora, Vintage Indigo and White.
New Balance 9060

This week sees yet another return of the New Balance 9060 classic. The sneaker has been among the favourites in recent months in South Africa and around the world. There are two new colourways for the 9060. This includes the Ivory Cream and Truffle colours.
ASICS EX89 Basketball Teams

The ASICS EX89 makes a famous return this week. It was originally launched by the Japanese brand as the ASICS Gel-Extreme back in 1988.
This week sees it being reintroduced as NBA-franchise-inspired packs. The first two in this basketball collection are the EX89 Lakers and EX89 Knicks colourways. It features prominent colours from their respective franchises, the LA Lakers and New York Knicks.
Expect to see more colourways from the other NBA teams in the coming weeks.
Converse Chuck 70 Plus

The Converse Chuck 70 has probably received the most reworks, collaborations and colourways throughout its initial release in the 70s. This is where the now redesigned silhouette derives its name.
The classic has seen a split upper and midsole for its latest edition in the Chuck 70 Plus. Its colourway features Dark Beetroot, Egret and Black atop the off-white midsole. The playful, split-panel upper is made from about 48% cotton and about 48% polyester.
