Caroline Hu continues her romantic reinterpretation of the adidas Samba this year with a new pack that features the beloved soccer shoe covered in pleats and delicate satin. Inspired by her own couture collection for A25, Hu’s design certainly brings a luxurious twist to the classic silhouette.
A Closer Look At The Sneaker
Of course, many sneakerheads will recall the style of this sheered satin pack from Caroline Hu’s 2024 shoe collaboration with adidas. Among the dreamy pleated lace sambas the duo prepared last year were three equally beautiful designs dressed up in flat layers of textured silk—a soft pink pair, a minimal white take, and a sleek black version. Yet Hu will be adding even more colourways to her distinct satin Sambas in 2025.
Sneakerheads can anticipate a trendy burgundy-esque option in “Power Red”, as well as “Dark Blue” and elegant “Silver Metallic” pairs. Each colourway features brown gum outsoles underneath, co-branding at the tongue and insoles, a touch of leather on the iconic three stripes and even more leather at the heel.

These exclusive satin-covered samba offerings will be available in May 2025 through JUICE STORE, adidas.com, and select retailers. Pairs will sell for $160 USD each.
