The story of SneakerFortress.com begins with FortressofSolitude.co.za, a popular entertainment website in South Africa. While the site covered various topics such as movies, TV shows, and comics, it also had a dedicated section for sneakers. As the popularity of sneakers continued to grow in South Africa, the team at Fortress of Solitude saw an opportunity to spin off the sneaker section into a standalone website.
