A few weeks back, Converse dropped their follow-on of the successful collaboration with Tyler, The Creator for the Converse X Golf le Fleur* range. Converse has taken it back to the streets with their latest collaboration, this time with streetwear and basketball enthusiast, Don C. The duo pair up for a dynamic collection of retro-inspired looks with an enhanced signature luxe touch. The sneaker included in the collection is the reinvented, classic Converse ERX basketball sneaker as part of the Converse X Just Don drop.
The Converse ERX basketball sneaker was notoriously worn by pro basketball players, rock stars and skate champions. The updated silhouette features a graphic logo pop, flashes of retro hues, a jewelled star and a leopard patch, which blends Converse’s heritage with modern courtside styling. The Just Don ERX 260 features studded details scattered throughout the silhouette, with a hint of exotic animal. The ‘CONS’ logo flips to ‘DONS’ as to stamp a seal of approval from both brands on the collaboration. The multicolour patterns and faux pony hair execution with a bold and daring look.
The Converse X Just Don dropped 24 November 2018 and is currently available at Shelflife and Jack Lemkus. The collection also features a full sportswear collection with matching prints and logos, a throwback to the glory days of court style and hip-hop culture.
