Converse and Swedish sneaker boutique Sneakersnstuff have joined forces to take us back to the 1960s with a retro-inspired colourway.
The design draws inspiration from an ERDL camouflage pattern that debuted in the 60s. The Converse One Star x Sneakersnstuff continues to inspire global street culture with this limited edition collaboration.
The Converse One Star takes on a print through texture and color, featuring a traditional military drab camouflage known as the “canteen” palate.
The team have translated the traditional graphic application into a unique patchwork of suede and leather, with individually stitched patterns used for the camouflaged kicks. In addition to this, the silhouette’s foxing tape features a military laundry tag while the heel displays a debossed SNS logo. The look is finished off with goat leather lining, vintage cotton laces, co-branded sock liners, along with the iconic star in Nappa leather.
The Converse One Star x Sneakersnstuff collaboration is currently available exclusively at Shelflife stores in Johannesburg and Cape Town, as well as online. It retails for R1,399.00.
