A few months back, Converse launched the Love the Progress campaign aimed at empowering young females. Converse is back with its latest campaign, ‘We Are Not Alone’, which is rooted in the journey of what makes each artist unique and find comfort in being together, pushing Cape Town’s hip-hop culture forward.
FIFE Avenue is a progressive group of people with a mutual love for music. The mix of people for the campaign includes content creators, sound engineers and the like. The crew created a safe space for self-expression, which includes Phresh Clique, Psykobeats, Nani Chehore, Zino D and Kay Faith.
As for the sneakers in the collection, it builds a solid understanding of the different walks of life that each one comes from and being alone when you are different. The sneaker chosen for the campaign is the Chuck Taylor All Star low and hi-cut. The All Star has been a laidback legend since 1957 and one of Converse‘s most iconic silhouettes.
With the 4-word slogan ‘We Are Not Alone’ boldly stamped on the foxing in contrasting colours schemes, the message is easily identified from almost any distance. The silhouette represents a unity between the wearer and various social, cultural and technologically inclined groups alike.
The Converse ‘We Are Not Alone’ is available at all Converse and Sportscene stores across the country, with pricing between at R899 for the low-cut and R999 for the hi-cut.
