After successful collaborations with Hello Kitty and MadeMe towards the end of 2018, Converse has teamed up for another collaboration. This time they are working with lifestyle brand Perks and Mini for the Converse X P.A.M. Chuck 70.
Converse invites you to prepare for an icy future dreamscape with their first collaboration with Misha Hollenbach and Shauna Toohey of Perks and Mini, a psychedelic art project from Australia. The designers, known for their weird graphics and silhouette remixes, have stamped their signature bold graphics and Mutation theme onto the classic Chuck 70 silhouette.
The Chuck 70 features a zip-off upper made of quilted nylon with Primaloft fill, a trademark of Primaloft Inc. In addition to this, the silhouette sports a custom licence plate on the left foot and a woven label on the tongue. The Mutation logo is embroidered on the canvas interior. Zipping off the first layer upper reveals an alternative closure featuring a canvas upper. The second layer features gore straps and laces on the exterior.
The Converse X P.A.M. is already available at Shelflife stores, and retails for a price of R1,399.95. Buyers will also appreciate the custom shoebox and tissue paper printed with a collage inspired by Antiquity landscapes.
