Fresh off their latest successful partnership a few weeks back, Converse is back with another collaboration. For its latest collab, the brand has dropped the Converse X Slam Jam. The new range sees the release of the all-new Bosey MC Hi and Low.
Slam Jam is known as the pioneers of the underground style. The brand draws its inspiration from the outdoors to create distinct patterns and styles across its product range. With the Converse X Slam Jam collaboration, this is brought forth in the modernised Bosey MC Hi and Low. Both sneakers offer a technical aesthetic of outdoor lifestyles – whether you’re hitting the street or the woods.
First on the list is the Bosey MC Hi. The limited-edition sneaker crafted from a high-top utility boot. The upper is created with a Lurex ripstop nylon construction. This gives the sneaker its look and feel of adventurous lifestyles. Rounding off the upper is a mix of materials used on jackets, a weather-ready rubber and “hi-vis” reflective details.
Taking the styling elements to the next level is the signature textured Bosey toe cap and rubber foxing. The silhouette is featured in an all-black colourway to emphasise that rebel spirit to outdoor style.
The second sneaker in the collection is the Bosey MC Low. It follows the same design look and feel, but in an all-white colourway and low cut silhouette.
The Bosey MC Low is a low top utility sneaker crafted from the Lurex ripstop nylon construction. It, too, features the signature textured Bosey toe cap and rubber foxing. Additionally, the sneaker also includes the reflective binding and lacing elements.
The Converse x Slam Jam is available from today. It is exclusively available online at converse.co.za, as well as in-store at Shelflife.
Pricing for the drop will range is R1,499 for the Slam Jam Bosey MC Low Top and R1,599 for the Slam Jam Bosey MC High Top.
