Following two successful collaborations for the ERX 260, Converse has announced their latest collaboration for the basketball silhouette, the Converse X TheSoloist ERX 260 Hi.
Converse has partnered with Takahiro Miyashita, founder of the fashion label TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloist to explore American society through three convergent style genres, which are rock, basketball and militaristic workwear. Applying these fundamentals to the design, Takahiro creates the all-new Hi silhouette.
Takahiro is no stranger to Converse drops, having featured in various collaborations over the years. The latest designs, however, is a departure from the previously released, Odessa and One Star ranges he has been involved in. The ERX 260 Hi has been tactically transformed and features an all-over dark colour blocking, with panels and matte suedes, which tie into the giant mid-foot zipper, in contrast to the traditional lace finish.
The Converse X TheSoloist ERX 260 Hi is available from today, 16 March 2019. The silhouette will be available at Shelflife, Jack Lemkus and Converse Sandton and will retail for R1,999.95.
