Earlier this month, Converse announced the collaboration with Keith Haring. The collection featured creative doodling elements to tie into the theme. This time around, the brand has partnered with acclaimed menswear designer, Todd Snyder. The Converse X Todd Snyder collection features refreshed elements from the Converse archives to give it that preppy fashion aesthetic.
The collaboration celebrates Converse’s Jack Purcell performance heritage. As a result, it blends all with new, focusing on that old-school fashion with contemporary design techniques. The look has been refreshed with modern touches which is all the hype today.
As part of the drop, the duo has crafted a fresh take on the classic Jack Purcell, taking it back to its badminton roots. The design has been inspired by the man behind the sneaker, made for the players of today.
The Converse X Todd Snyder Jack Purcell is featured in two colourways, off white and navy.
The upper is crafted from 12oz canvas with a suede tongue and overlay. Sticking to its roots, it includes the signature toe-cap smile. New to the look is the Todd Snyder wordmark, pink PU-dipped lace tips and a cork sock liner and gum outsole.
In addition to the Jack Purcell sneaker, the Converse X Todd Snyder collection also features a range of apparel. Each of the pieces are a limited-edition release, with prep styles and elements from the Jack Purcell itself. This includes “Jack Purcell Racquet Club”, the “Snyder” label, pink Oxford pocket lining, amongst others.
The range includes the following items:
- PO Crew
- PO Plaid Crew
- Jogger
- Plaid Jogger
- Harrington Jacket
- Baseball Hat
- Rugby Shirt
- Snyder Polo
