Converse has partnered with some well-known brands of late for significant drops this season. Their last drop featured the Converse X Feng Chen Wang collaboration. This time around, the brand has partnered with Undefeated for the UNDFT X Converse drop.
For the collaboration, Converse has selected the iconic Chuck 70. This limited-edition mid-cut sneaker receives the Undefeated treatment.
As a result, the sneaker receives West Coast styling in the form of a tiger stripe camo print. The camo print includes a tan and green colourway. Additionally, it also features a chukka-inspired reworked design. This gives it a familiar feel you know and love.
The camo aesthetic gives it an army look, with additional military motifs converging throughout. Its design stays true to the long-standing partnership between the two brands. It brings forth the Undefeated DNA along with West Coast styling. This provides its classic street style with a California lean.
The upper is crafted from 12oz canvas, which provides structure and durability. It includes the iconic Undefeated Tally Marks stamp on the rubber foxing. Underneath, the outsole is crafted in a blue colour, which provides an unexpected pop of vivid colour.
On the rear, the sneaker has a Mil-spec style printed label. Moving to the inner, it has a cobranded Converse and Undefeated sock liner. It’s an Ortholite insole, which provides additional comfort while on the move.
The UNDFT X Converse is available at a cost of R1,499.
