As the greatest tournament on earth, the FIFA World Cup, officially kicks off, Converse has dropped their latest collection, the One Star Canvas Country Pride pack, which is all about coming together in celebration.
Since its groundbreaking debut all the way back in 1974, the One Star silhouette has undergone numerous changes and updates to showcase modern style and culture. The sneaker, originally built for the basketball courts has been adapted for the streets and modern lifestyle, continuously reimagined by those on the fringes. This time around, the sneaker has been updated for the World Cup, featuring various colourways to represent your country of choice.
Each of the set of colourways features a unique lightweight canvas upper with a suede finish, coupled with an EVA foam insole for cushioning, as well as an embroidered Converse One Star logo. While some shoes get lost in history, the One Star bends history towards it.
The Converse One Star Country Pride pack will retail at a price of R999. It will be available from Converse stores, Superbalist, X-Trend and Jack Lemkus.
