Last Thursday, 6th July 2017, was Kevin Hart’s 38th birthday. To celebrate the occassion, he announced the drop of his second collaboration with Nike with the release of the Nike Hustle Hart 2.
In January this year, Hart took to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to announce the first Hustle Hart collaboration with Nike, with the sneakers available a few months later. The success of the original, which took design inspiation from the Nike Free Train Virtue, meant that the second collaboration was inevitable. This time around, the Hustle Hart features two new colourways, the Nike Free Train Virtue Hustle Hart Day, featuring a Cool Grey/Sport Red/White colourway, and the Nike Free Train Virtue Hustle Hart Night, featuring a Black/Sport Red/White/Metallic Gold colourway.
Complex’s, Matt Welty, caught up with Hart for a behind-the-scenes shoot for the sneaker’s campaign at Equinox in New York City, US, as he explained the role he played in the creation of the sneaker, and how to go about your daily training programme, for which the sneakers were designed for. The segment also features some lightheated banter from Hart when asked if he’s in some form of competition with Drake, who has his own sneaker dripping as part of the Jordan brand. You can catch part of the interview below, as filmed by Complex.com.
