Next up in the brand’s 40th-anniversary celebrations is the Air Jordan 12 “French Blue,” a renowned non-OG colourway famously worn by Kobe Bryant during his sneaker free agency in 2003.
A Closer Look At The Sneaker
This version of the Air Jordan 12 combines a clean and classic palette of White, French Blue, Metallic Silver, and Varsity Red that perfectly complemented the Mamba’s Lakers uniform back in the day.
And you can expect the retro release to feature the same combination of “White” tumbled leather and faux reptile overlays dressed in “French Blue.” This striking hue continues onto the midsole and outsole while also accentuating the branding on the tongue and heel.
“Varsity Red” delivers a vibrant touch to the insole and heel tab, creating a subtle yet stylish contrast to the mainly blue and white design. Finally, a hint of grey appears on the Jumpman-branded plastic tab along the shoe’s side, with “Metallic Silver” gracing the eyelets.

Although there’s no official word from Jordan Brand yet, the Air Jordan 12 “French Blue” is rumoured to drop in Fall 2025. Sneakerheads can scoop up a pair through Nike.com and select Jordan Brand retailers, with men’s sizes retailing at $200 USD.
