SpongeBob and his pals down in Bikini Bottom have splashed across several notable footwear collaborations this year. From a collection with Crocs to Nikola Jokić’s signature 361 Degrees shoes, it feels like they’ve been almost everywhere. Yet one character who’s consistently missed a chance to bask in the spotlight is Mrs. Penelope “Poppy” Puff, Spongebob’s boating school instructor. But luckily for sneaker fans, a Mrs Puff-inspired Nike SB Dunk Low might be on the horizon, thanks to sneaker artist Christian Mazorra of @conceptkickz.
A Closer Look At The Sneaker
To capture Mrs Puff’s signature look, Mazorra begins with a light teal base, mirroring her fin colour. The design continues with beige leather overlays speckled with brown spots to represent her skin, while the blue of her top is showcased through the side Swooshes.
Lastly, the look is tied together with a white midsole, red rubber outsole, and a set of yellow laces. If you can’t already tell these details are inspired by her eyes, skirt, and hair.
But what really makes this pair stand out are the tongue tags adorned with little hearts. This is a subtle nod to her signature pink lipstick and the unique way she applies it. Such a thoughtful detail!

These kicks would be a perfect addition to any SpongeBob fan’s sneaker collection. However, they are still in the concept phase and have not been produced just yet.
