It isn’t always easy to find a simple and sophisticated colourway amongst all the flashy and bright colours coming out these days. Still, Nike has us covered, as always. If you want a refreshing new colourway to add to your summer collection, look no further than the upcoming Nike Air Force 1 Mid “Clear Jade”.

When Bruce Kilgore first designed the iconic Nike Air Force 1 in 1994, Nike was worried that the design wouldn’t make it because it wasn’t connected with any big names like their Air Jordan was. That being said, the iconic design recently celebrated its 29th anniversary and has since released a plethora of styles that have been well-received.
And so enters the latest stunning design, a pair that looks more refreshing than a mint iced tea on a warm day, the Nike Air Force 1 Mid “Clear Jade”.
The sneakers are dominated by white, giving the entire sneaker an incredibly sleek and sophisticated look but slightly more interesting than a plain all-white pair. Blanketed in white from the midsole to the collar, every element is either wholly white or has a peek of refreshing Jade to accent it.

Starting from the outsole and traction, the midsole transitions to white, sporting the AIR logo in Jade on the side by the heel. From there, the trim, the mudguard, the toe box, the lace unit, the tongue, the upper panelling, and the collar are all white, leaving room for a few tinges of Jade.
The ankle strap is primarily white but boasts a Jade buckle/loop, which leads into more white with a Jade tip and a mini Nike Swoosh embroidered in Jade on the end, matching a tiny little Nike Swoosh found at the base of the lace unit. The Tongue label has the same treatment, with all writing printed in Jade against a white background.

The Nike Swoosh on the lateral and medial sides are the only parts besides the outsole that are entirely Jade. At the same time, the inner lining flips the motif on the outside, being dominated by Jade and reversing the writing and typography to be white instead of Jade.

The writing on the leather heel tab follows suit from the ankle strap tab, embroidered in Jade thread and standing out beautifully against the white. Altogether, the white and Jade elements combine to make one of the most refreshing and clean silhouettes we have seen on the slate for this summer.
There’s no official release date set for this pair just yet. Still, in the presence of official images, it’s safe to assume that we will be seeing these sneakers sometime soon. We can definitely be sure to see these before the end of this year. As summer ends and we enter the spooky season, let’s hope it’s soon.

The expected price set for this pair is $120, a standard price for the Nike Air Force 1 Mid sneaker and an acceptable range for this refreshing “Clear Jade” pair.
