Cartoons and sneakers have started to come together in the most exciting ways lately, with custom sneakers bringing the world of nostalgic cartoons to life. Finally joining the collection, these Nike Air Jordan 1 Mighty Ducks: The Animated Series sneakers are an epic 3D pair.

Mighty Ducks: The Animated Series
This nostalgic series aired from 1996-1997 and was a huge part of many people’s childhoods. Mighty Ducks: The Animated Series tells the story of “A team of humanoid duck ice hockey team/freedom fighters fight evil between games.”
The Mighty Ducks are an intergalactic ice-hockey team that is not only from space but also from another dimension. During the events of the series, the Mighty Ducks are stuck on Earth during a fight against their arch-rivals. Stuck on Earth with no way of returning to their own dimension, the team builds their headquarters under an old, abandoned hockey rink, and soon the crowds return to watch their matches. While out of the rink, the team fights crime wherever they find it (or wherever it finds them) and manages to track down their nemesis.

Nike Air Jordan 1 Mighty Ducks: The Animated Series Sneakers
These fantastic and colourful custom sneakers are made by @artbyartllc on Instagram and perfectly capture the essence of the beloved hockey-playing intergalactic anthropomorphic ducks.
Creating this custom pair was a big moment for @artbyartllc because they shared in their Instagram post that it was their first time painting a pair of Air Jordan 1 High sneakers. Still, it definitely won’t be the last one they customize.
These Nike Air Jordan 1 Mighty Ducks: The Animated Series sneakers are considered a one-of-a-kind piece of art that would run you about $1200 if the pair displayed were for sale. Luckily, if you love them, you can arrange with the creator to make you your own special pair.

Starting from the bottom, we see a fitting black outsole that matches the 3D printed lace dubraes, as well as the inner lining of the sneakers.
From there, we get a stunning stark-white midsole that matches the custom laces from @litlaces, the designs on the toe box, the duck-shaped hockey masks on the side of the sneakers, and the awesome 3D-printed hockey mask hang tag.
Green marks the front of the sneakers, matching the green of the Mighty Ducks’ outfits, which are represented in stunning detail with decals of members of the team as well as some of the antagonists from the animated series.
The Nike Swoosh that is usually present has been removed and replaced with a 3D element, broken wooden hockey sticks that the Mighty Ducks can be seen using in the series.
The last stunning custom element is the premium leather tongue tags that advertise both the name of the series that the sneakers are inspired by and give credit to the artist who customized these sneakers.
