With an array of eye-catching releases in 2023, the Jordan line has truly been a gift to the sneaker world. Besides introducing new colourways and collaborations, fans had the chance to relish the re-emergence of some old favourites. One such nostalgic return has been the former heavyweight: the Air Jordan 3 “Fear”.

The Air Jordan 3 “Fear”, with its dazzling design, made its initial appearance back in 2013 as a feature of the iconic “Fear Pack. A decade later, it’s making a comeback, retaining the unique design that’s grabbed the attention of sneaker fans for years. The good news for sneakerheads is that Nike, unlike in 2013, will offer this highly-awaited re-release in a size range to fit everyone, from full-grown men to tiny tots. Now, let’s delve deeper into the eye-catching design aspects of this sleek and stylish sneaker.

As mentioned before, the Air Jordan 3 “Fear” re-imagining is loyal to its original 2013 blueprint, showcasing the familiar deep tints of “Night Stadium” and “Black” across its luxurious leather and suede exterior. Complementing this dark palette, “Total Orange” highlights add a vibrant contrast.
The sneaker incorporates a “Night Stadium” leather upper contrasted by dark “Black” suede on the collar, eyelets, and tongue. The iconic elephant print of the Air Jordan 3 graces the toe and heel area in a subtle grey and black pattern, adding to its visual appeal.

Unfortunately, this retro iteration lacks the special insoles of the original 2013 release, which inscribed a compelling message, “I’m scared of what I won’t become, and you’re scared of what I could become,” as a tribute to Michael Jordan’s memorable “Look Me In My Eyes” commercial. Instead, the 2023 re-edition offers a simple plush black insole marked with a “Total Orange” Jumpman at the heel.

The vivid “Total Orange” tint is mirrored not only in the iconic Jumpman featured on the tongue and heel but also in the daring colour of the sneaker’s eyelets. This distinctive shade amplifies the overall design with its striking touch.

The design is rounded off with a black and white midsole featuring an “Orange” tinted visible Air Unit. The black section of the midsole subtly shifts into a dark grey hue, speckled with light grey at the heel. The finishing touches include a black rubber outsole and matching laces, enhancing the overall sleek look of the shoe.
The Air Jordan 3 “Fear” is all set for its grand comeback on November 25, 2023. The sneaker will be available to purchase from Nike.com, SNKRS, and select Jordan retailers at 5:00 PM GMT+2.

Without a doubt, this is yet another captivating retro re-release from Jordan, promising to delight family members of all ages. This stunning pair of kicks will be available in sizes for all family members, retailing at $210 USD for adult sizes, $150 USD for Big Kids, $90 for Little Kids, and $75 USD for Toddler/Infant sizes.
