Despite being only four days away from the holiday, Nike is still preparing their Air Max 95 silhouette for Halloween. However, it might be a bit late to wear them for the holiday this year, but they are still perfect for the end of the Fall season. For those interested in something other than the Halloween timing and are more curious about these brooding dark sneakers, let’s look at this dark take on the Air Max 95 “Black/Red/Orange” sneakers.

This relatively late addition to the Halloween-themed catalogue takes the Air Max 95 silhouette on a new moody journey. Starting from the bottom, from a profile view, the outsole is plain black with a bit of deep red poking through. When looking at the sneakers from the bottom, that red makes up a section of the traction before transitioning to black again. From there, the black opens up in the middle of the sole to reveal the orange Air unit embedded within the sole unit.
The orange Air unit can easily be seen thanks to the clear windows that form bubbles on the sides of the otherwise black midsole, its dark neutral shade matching the outsole and the rest of the sneaker.
Moving on to the upper of the sneakers, there are so many panels, making up so much texture and adding interest to the otherwise bare sneaker, thanks to the sneakers being all one colour. Starting at the tip of the sneakers, we see that the mudguard is black leather. This sentiment is repeated on the horizontal panelling of the sneakers and again on the heel tab.

The horizontal panelling of the sneakers has been stitched in such a way that it has vertical indents, making it look like the sneaker is embossed in certain places, again adding texture and intrigue to the sneakers.
The upper-most horizontal panel is a black mesh that perfectly matches the upper-most area of the sneakers. The former has the same valleys and ridges as the rest of the horizontal panelling, while the latter has none.
The mesh is repeated on the tongue of the sneakers, not barring the lace stays and the leather lace unit piece that makes its way up the tongue. The upper is devoid of all colours except for the accents and branding. On the lateral heel side of each sneaker stands a Nike Swoosh, which has both orange and red, orange making up the border of the small Swoosh and red making up the centre.

Similar to the branding on the back is the “airmax” branding on the tongue, which features orange and red as the background and black and orange for the illusory typography. The insole also has the Nike Air Max branding and the Nike Swoosh in a slightly deeper red, matching the rubberized red branding on the heel tab.
These Nike Air Max 95 “Black/Red/Orange” sneakers are perfect for Halloween, but will they be out in time to celebrate the holiday? Unfortunately, there’s no way of telling because we have yet to see any information regarding the release other than that we can expect to see them within the last couple of months of 2023. Regardless of whether they miss Halloween, there is plenty of opportunity to enjoy them for the rest of the fall season.
