If you’re a comic book or Marvel enthusiast, you probably know how challenging it can be to find sneaker designs that embody our favourite characters but still have a luxe and mature feel. Fortunately, there are gifted custom designers like Alexis Saab @alexis.saab, whose “Marvel” Nike Dunk Lows skilfully combine the iconic superhero imagery we love with a modern and chic look.

A Closer Look At The Design

This incredible custom is modelled after Nike’s 2002 “Paris” Dunk Low sneakers. The pair essentially features the same tan suede base—which is made from premium Go Rain Suede here—and vibrantly printed overlays as its muse. However, the artwork by French painter Bernard Buffet has been replaced with comic book-style illustrations of Marvel characters.

The design also incorporates deeper burgundy accents on the branding, laces, and smooth leather Swooshes, giving it a sophisticated look. The edges of the profile Swooshes are even painted yellow to honour the Union AJ1s from 2018. Needless to say, it’s a tonne of creativity packed into one extremely beautiful pair of kicks.

Where To Get The “Marvel” Nike Dunk Low Custom?

You can commission a pair of Marvel Nike Dunk Low sneakers by sending Alexis Saab a Direct Message on Instagram or emailing him at alexis.saab@example.com. A custom pair may cost between $400 and $3000 USD, depending on the materials and design complexity.

In the meantime, check out our website for more mature custom sneaker designs inspired by fan-favourite Marvel characters. Take a look at these Wolverine and Hulk-inspired Air Jordan 1 High sneakers, as well as these awesome Nike Dunk Lows with a Spider-Man Blue theme or this Venom-inspired design.  While you’re browsing, be sure to follow Sneaker Fortress for more custom and concept sneakers.
