This year, we’ve seen a lot of inventive designs worn on the Nike Dunk Low silhouette. These have ranged from subtle Spider-Man-themed kicks that wink at the web-slinger’s iconic web detailing to edgy pairs with “Biker Tattoo” graphics. Thankfully, the pending release of the Nike Dunk Low “Ruby Red” promises that this trend of unusual designs will carry over into the lineup for next year.
A Closer Look At The Sneaker
This upcoming Nike Dunk Low is blooming with beautiful materials and details.
The sneaker’s upper is made of ruby red leather overlays on a base of light khaki suede. However, the overlay’s standard shape has been subtly modified to accommodate the curved edges of the rose petals and leaves that are embossed onto them. The shoe’s toe and ankle flaps feature these distinctive floral details, which we presume are a nod to the custom of giving red roses to loved ones on Valentine’s Day.
To complete the romantic colour scheme, the pair is finished with a light khaki midsole and ruby red outsole.
Nike Dunk Low “Ruby Red” Release Details
The release date for this stunning pair is yet to be confirmed. However, with their rose-themed design, it’s likely that we will see these drop around Valentine’s Day in February 2025. Women’s sizes of the shoe will retail for $125 USD, and it can be purchased on Nike.com and at a few other select retailers.
