Nike SNKRS Has Been Teasing a Lost And Found Restock In April

Every sneakerhead that accidentally missed a limited edition release sits watching social media to see when their missed sneakers are being restocked. Nike SNKRS App posted some “cryptic” (they were pretty clear on their intentions) teasers that they might restock one of the most sought-after sneakers of 2022, the Air Jordan 1 Retro Chicago “Lost And Found”, and everyone is waiting with bated breath to see if they are going to go through with it.

Nike SNKRS Has Been Teasing a Lost And Found Restock In April

The Nike SNKRS App posted some teasers that they might be restocking the AJ1 “Lost And Found”, saying, “If we restocked AJ1 ‘Chicago’ next week, you would:” with a poll that had the zipped mouth emoji, and an option that said, “Tell everyone in the group chat.”

The Air Jordan 1 Retro Chicago “Lost And Found” is one of the Jordan Brand’s “Reimagined” series where they are taking some of their timeless original designs, like the Air Jordan 1 “Chicago”, and modifying them slightly to match current trends, and appeal to a more modern audience.

The sneakers are true to their original design, keeping the same colourway and modifying the sneakers’ collar by changing the texture of the material they use there. Besides that, the colourway is still the same, with a deep red and white colourway and black Swoosh. It would be difficult to say that one colour dominates the other because the sneakers are perfectly balanced between the two, with red on the outsole, white on the midsole, red on the toe cap, white on the toe box, red on the midfoot connected to the lace eyelets, white on the tongue label to balance out the red, etc. The sneakers are a lavish recreation of the original, keeping the original inspiration while modifying it slightly to appeal to new audience members.

“Reimagined” Series

The “Reimagined” series kicked off in 2021 with the Air Jordan 1 “Bred Patent”, followed by the highly-sought after Air Jordan “Lost And Found” in November of 2022. The next pair of sneakers in the series expected to drop is the Air Jordan 1 “Royal Reimagined”, which should come to us during the Holidays of 2023. There have been hints of another “Bred” remake, the Air Jordan 4 “Bred Reimagine”, which may arrive during the Spring of 2024, but we must wait and see.
