Six months ago we posted news that Nike announced its self-lacing sneakers, the Nike HyperAdapt 1.0, based on the movie, Back to the Future, which predicted it’s availability in 2015. Although a year later than the prediction, we’re still very excited about the prospect, which was made concrete when Nike revealed that the sneakers will go on sale from 28th November 2016.

The announcement was made via a Tweet from Nike’s Heidi Burgett, who said the sneakers will be available “experience & purchase”, but only in a few Nike stores around the US. Pricing has yet to be determined, and global release remains pending for now.
