2025 is shaping up to be a massive year for Nike. In addition to the many highly anticipated Air Jordan releases set to drop in honour of the Jordan Brand’s 40th anniversary, several highly anticipated Air Max collaborations are also on the horizon. Unexpectedly, one is a Patta x Nike Air Max 90 “Waves” design.
A Closer Look At The Sneaker
At this point, information about the shoe’s colourway and material selection is still being kept under wraps. However, sneaker insiders Bubble Koppe have confirmed that the collaboration will include a wave-inspired design, which was first seen on the 2021 release of the Patta x Air Max 1.
Sneakerheads should thus anticipate an Air Max 90 featuring wavy overlays and distinctive colour schemes that hopefully pay homage to the original collaboration. In the meantime, you can check out speculative images by House of Heat below, but note that the final design most likely won’t look exactly like these early mockups.
Patta x Nike Air Max 90 “Waves” Release Details
The new Patta collaboration is expected to be released in the summer of 2025. The shoe will be sold at Nike.com, Patta, and a few other stores. However, we are still waiting for an official release date and price announcement. So, stay tuned for more on Patta and Nike’s highly anticipated collaboration.
Naturally, there are plenty of other collabs to keep an eye out for in the meantime. The NIGO x Nike Air Force 3 Low is set for release in October 2024, while both the Antihero x Nike SB Dunk High and the A Ma Maniére x Nike Air Force 1 Low “While You Were Sleeping” are set to drop later in the Holiday season.
