Following the launch of the PUMA Jaab XT with Lewis Hamilton earlier this week, PUMA has extended their range of trainers with the release of the Mode XT, launched in partnership with the international supermodel Adriana Lima. Go hard wherever you are.
As with the Jaab XT, the Mode XT is designed to push the boundaries and gym like a beast, while still being able to make the seamless transition from the gym to the streets as a fashion statement at brunch. The silhouette also doesn’t look amiss when you’re hitting the tar for a night run or at a party with friends, all without changing shoes. The trainer has a provocative design, which is built for intense training of all kinds, so you can shift modes and push your limits in style.
As is the case with many trainers of late, the Mode XT extends beyond the gym to be the complete multitasker, a role embodied by Adriana Lima. From the catwalk to the gym to a run with her kids, Lima is always on the go, switching gears while looking flawless. The Mode XT forms part of the #DoCampaign, which sees local TV host, Ayanda Thabethe, join forces with PUMA for the South African kick-off of the 2019 collection. Ayanda herself is known as busy-body, gracing the screens, hitting the airport, to hosting numerous events across the country, her lifestyle compliments the new Mode XT.
The Mode XT blends street style with performance-driven technology for the ultimate trainer. The shoe features a full-length PROFOAM podular midsole to provide a lightweight rebound. The addition of the HYBRID Foam offers additional cushioning while at the gym or hitting the streets, while also provide complete responsiveness. To complete the design, the shoe includes zoned rubber outsoles to create traction for training movement, with the upper allowing for lightweight comfort. The silhouette was built for the girl who wants to change the game and look great while doing it. The Mode XT is a high-intensity trainer at heart, but that’s just one of its many modes. You, the wearer, determine its full potential.
The PUMA Mode XT is set for launch on the same day as the Jaab XT, which takes place on 18 January 2019 and will be available at PUMA stores, Superbalist and selected retailers. The silhouette will retail for R1,599.
