A few weeks ago, PUMA collaborated with PUMA x BRITTO for the Happy Art Movement, bringing artwork to life. In keeping with the art theme, PUMA has launched its latest collection, the Art of Sport.
PUMA believes that sport is a form of art. As such, it impacts our minds, bodies, and souls, and it has the power to change the way we see the world. The latest capsule celebrates the beauty of people coming together through sport.
The collection features a mix of sneakers, apparel and accessories. Each of these pieces will feature PUMA graphics, along with asymmetric colour blocking. These graphics that form part of the design were inspired by Japanese Kamon symbols. These are like a family crest, where emblems narrate and decorate the PUMA family history.
Included as part of the PUMA footwear collection is the Art of Sport RS-Z, Wild Rider, City Rider and Mirage Sport. Additionally, the apparel features the Art of Sport Tees, Track Top, Track Jacket, Track Pants, Pants, Shorts, Hoodie, Classics Graphic Leggings, High Waist Leggings and a Crew.
Rounding off the pack are the accessories. These include the Art of Sport Cap, Compact Portable and Backpack.
The PUMA Art of Sport collection is set to drop on 20 August 2021. It’ll be available online at PUMA.com.
In-store releases include PUMA stores, The Cross Trainer, Superbalist, Shesha, sportscene, Side Step, WE ARE EGG, OFFICE London and selected retailers.
Pricing for the sneakers are as follows:
- RS-Z – R2,199
- Wild Rider – R1,899
