Fresh off their successful ‘Do You’ campaign to empower women to tell their stories, Puma and Cara Delevingne have once again joined forces, this time for the release of the new Basket Heart silhouette, the Basket Heart DE.
The Basket Heart first launched in 2016 and has quickly become a style icon amongst women everywhere thanks to the XL lacing and feminine reinterpretation of a court classic. The Puma Basket took over the hip-hop scene in the 70s with its street styling. With the addition of the Puma Suede, the Puma Basket transformed an everyday court classic into a style icon of the time, the most debonair of pop culture legends.
Having already seen two new sneakers from the Basket Heart range this year (Demin and Independence Day Pack), the latest sneaker from the collection, the DE, has a bold new look, which features a Toreador Red leather upper, a white Puma Formstripe and outsole, with bold knitted Puma branding on the sneaker’s famous oversized lacing. In addition to the red, two further silhouettes from the range include black and blue colourways, all of which provide a variety of styling options for the season ahead.
The new Basket Heart DE range will be available from 1st September 2017 at Studio 88 and selected retailers across South Africa and will retail for R1,599.
