Following numerous successful launches from the PUMA CELL range, the team has extended the range will a new collection alongside the PUMA CELL Alien Kotto silhouette. The new Alien Kotto colourway continues the reintroduction of the CELL technology from the 1990s.
First introduced 20 years ago, the CELL technology features hexagons across the midsole, providing the optimal shape for stable cushioning and stronger movement. Further to this, the original CELL Alien dropped in 1998, a high-mileage runner with the addition of the CELL bubble packed through the heel for additional cushioning. The newest addition to the re-release of the CELL range, the PUMA CELL Alien Kotto, receives a futuristic makeover in an all-black colourway. The dark upper has a few contrasting elements, including the vibrant turquoise mesh and bold orange detailing. The CELL theme is seen throughout the silhouette’s design giving it a distinctive, graphic detailing.
The new range also features tie-in apparel, which includes a tee, tracksuit jacket and pants.
The PUMA CELL Alien Kotto is set to drop on 1 August 2019 and will retail for R1,999. The sneaker will be available at PUMA stores, The Cross Trainer, Side Step, Superbalist, Jack Lemkus, sportscene online and various retailers across the country.
