Cara Delevingne has been a PUMA brand ambassador for quite some time now, having kickstarted the Do You campaign with the brand a few years back. As is always the case, Cara has always pushed the envelope in terms of achieving the extraordinary, while remaining bold and confident. PUMA has also not shied away from bold and progressive creations, especially with the latest revival of the PUMA CELL range. The latest drop features a mix of both worlds and introducing the new PUMA Cell Stellar for women.
As part of the local drop, PUMA South Africa partnered with local ambassador Nomzamo Mbatha, to introduce its bold style, which encourages women to add a streak of cool to their daily routine, while they dare to only put their best foot forward.
The CELL Stellar draws on design inspiration from the CELL Alien, with a redesigned street look with a touch of feminine aesthetics. As with all previous CELL releases, the classic, hexagonal cells within the chunky midsole provide the optimal shape to create stability and maximum cushioning in every stride. The silhouette features a low collar, which opens up countless styling opportunities.
The upper features a mesh finish with leather overlays and metallic branding on the heel, along with a decked EVA midsole, all of which create the popular 90s aesthetic. The Stellar will drop in a White and Black colourway, with its standout feature being the visible CELL technology in contrasting pink.
The PUMA CELL Stellar for women is set to retail for R1899, which will be available at PUMA Stores, Sportscene, X-Trend Stores, Superbalist, Side Step, Jack Lemkus and selected retailers across the country. The silhouette will drop on 6 June 2019.
