PUMA dropped its Court Rider basketball sneaker earlier in 2021. Already it has seen additional colourways, the most notable being part of the PUMA X Rugrats collection. Continuing its list of collaborations, the brand has partnered with videogame publisher 2K for its latest drop. The PUMA Court Rider 2K is the latest addition to the range of Rider sneakers, based on the NBA 2K21 game.
Available in the NBA 2K21 videogame, the Court Rider 2K is available both in the real world and virtually as well. It features a showstopping design, as well as vibrant colours and playful vibes.
The sneaker was designed with the ultimate comfort in mind. It features a full-length Rider foam midsole, along with full-coverage rubber outsole to provide next-level comfort. Its dynamic lacing system also provides athletes with support and stability for those on-court performances. Moving to the upper, it is crafted from a variety of materials. This includes leather, suede and mesh overlays.
The Court Rider 2K was released in-game earlier this month. NBA 2K21 players were able to suit up their MyPlayers in the full PUMA X 2K collection. For fans of the game based in the US, PUMA and 2K rewarded the first 21 gamers who selected the PUMA endorsement deal in their MyCareer journey with a free pair of Court Rider 2K sneakers in the real world.
In addition to the sneaker, the PUMA x 2K collection also includes a list of apparel. This includes both short sleeve and long sleeve T-shirts. Each of these feature the PUMA Hoops mascot. In addition, the collection includes a dual-colored hoodie with a bold 2K21 graphic.
The PUMA Court Rider 2K dropped this week and is available online at PUMA.com, as well various PUMA and other retailers. It retails for R2,399, while the PUMA X 2K apparel collection will be available from R699.
