Just a few days ago, PUMA announced the extension to the Rider family with the PUMA Wild Rider. This time, the brand takes to the court with the release of the PUMA Court Rider Twofold basketball sneaker.
This basketball silhouette combines a mix of vibrant colours and elements, something that has been the staple of the PUMA’s Rider collection. As a result, the PUMA Court Rider Twofold is a mix of playfulness and style.
Its timeless design is paired with the brand’s technology from its PUMA Hoops range. The Court Rider Twofold basketball sneaker features a full-length Rider foam midsole, which was engineered specifically for basketball. Because of this, it has a full-coverage rubber outsole with PUMA’s high-abrasion rubber material.
The upper is crafted from a mix of materials including leather, suede and mesh overlays across its low boot design. Its lace closure system provides a snug fit around the forefoot. This system runs from the lateral side of the midfoot to the medial forefoot for a unique design. This provides additional stability and support when needed the most.
The PUMA Formstrip is featured in lumo yellow, with accents of orange, green and blue scattered throughout.
Other logos include the Cat logo on the heel and beneath on the sole, as well as on the top of the tongue.
In addition to the Court Rider Twofold sneaker, the new collection also includes a variety of basketball apparel. This includes the Court Side Jacket (R1,999), Court Side Pant (R1,899) and a Short Sleeve Tee (R799).
Stay tuned for additional drops from the Court Rider range throughout the year. Each drop will feature a bold design, which has been inspired by popular video games, nostalgic cartoons and more. It will offer the freshest in colourways meant for the court while hitting the streets just as easily.
The PUMA Court Rider Twofold sneaker will retail for R2,199.
