In early 2021, PUMA joined the carbon-plate race of running shoes with the Deviate Nitro. Since then, it has won plenty of awards among the running community. Now, the PUMA Deviate Nitro 2 is launched adding to its RUN PUMA lineup.

With the new shoe comes more responsiveness. The PUMA Deviate Nitro 2 has a new, full-length layer of premium NITRO Elite foam. Moreover, it gives the midsole a supreme level of cushioning and peak propulsion.
In addition to the Nitro Elite foam, the PWRPLATE carbon composite plate has also been improved. It has an innovative new platform design, which acts as a lever for maximum energy transfer. As a result, it produces this energy transfer at toe-off to propel you forward with each stride.
Further to this, improvements include the additional traction from the outsole. It was designed to thrive at any distance while running to give you that stability and balance underfoot.
Rounding off the tech-rich running shoe is the breathable mesh upper. It has also seen some enhancement. It offers extra padding and grip around the ankles to prevent heel slippage. This was one of the points raised in the previous Deviate Nitro, which the brand has addressed.
