PUMA has started the year off with a bang, dropping a number of new styles to keep you looking good at the gym or on the streets as you reach for those 2020 goals. Having recently dropped the PUMA X First Mile and PUMA LQD trainers, the brand has extended its list of sportstyle sneakers with the drop of the Hybrid Ozone.
As with the LQD launch earlier this year, PUMA has once again joined forces with Formula 1® Champion, Lewis Hamilton, for the drop of the Hybrid Ozone, partnered by British track athlete, Hannah Williams. The sneaker features game-changing cushioning while fusing streetstyle with technology for the 24/7 sports person. The cushioning includes the Hybrid foam with NRGY beads, providing extra levels of comfort and responsiveness, along with ProFoam, a lightweight (just 306g), smooth transition and a dynamic lacing system for a secure fit.
The upper provides a comfortable fit with its lace fit, which has adjustability for a variety of feet, which includes a tongue-stay for lock-down consistency. Designers have includes various PUMA branding elements from the Formstrip to heel-tab, which doubles up to ensure visibility with a translucent side-panels for on-trend optics. The outsole is manufactured from rubber for grip and durability, while the midfoot features a wrap that provides torsional rigidity, along with the ProFoam technology, which allows for a smooth transition.
The PUMA Hybrid Ozone will be available in a men’s and women’s variant, which will retail at R1,699 and R1,599, respectively. The shoes will be available online at PUMA.com, PUMA stores, Takealot (men’s only), Edgars (men’s only from May) and along with various retailers.
