PUMA announced its partnership with Dua Lipa as a brand ambassador at the end of 2020. Since then, the duo has announced three sneaker drops, including the PUMA Mayze and Suede Mayu silhouettes. Today, the brand announced the second iteration of the PUMA Suede Mayu.
The latest iteration of the Suede Mayu comes in the form of a new black colourway. This continues the momentum with the sneaker’s first launch in April this year.
The Suede Mayu takes its cues from some of PUMA‘s most iconic styles from its archives, blowing it up with exaggerated proportions. It gives the sneaker its chic and fresh look, thanks to its bold platform. However, it doesn’t mean that it’s heavy and uncomfortable. The platform is crafted to be lightweight and comfy.
Dua Lipa lends her style with the latest campaign for its imagery. This was shot by Mario Sorrenti. Her style is paired with a black skirt, knot crop top and chainmail camisole. It shows the versatility of the Suede Mayu sneaker, which can be transformed to use throughout the day, through various looks.
In addition to this, Dua Lipa is also featured as part of PUMA women’s campaign, “She Moves Us.” The campaign celebrates those women who move together in order to achieve and connect through fashion, community and sport.
