PUMA X Vogue – Runway Fashion Meets Streetwear Style

PUMA is no stranger to the world of high fashion. The PUMA X Vogue launch a few weeks back is an example of this crossover. PUMA FUTROGRADE was an immersive runway show, which took place during the New York Fashion Week. It showcased the past, present and future of the brand.
Streetwear Meets Runway Fashion

The PUMA FUTROGRADE show showcased a selection of new looks. This was varied across a mix of collections for the current season, as well as those for upcoming seasons. Many of the styles featured custom pieces, which were curated by PUMA Designer and Creative Director, June Ambrose.

PUMA FUTROGRADE Sneakers
On a personal note, the sneakers showcase was a hot favourite. Along with some new colourways and designs on classic silhouettes, the PUMA FUTROGRADE show also featured some newly released sneakers.
Although many weren’t announced by name, there are a few notable sneakers spotted at the show. The first of these was the showpiece PUMA Nitro NFRNO. This sneaker tied in with the release of the NFT.
The second sneaker showcased is the much talked about, PUMA Nitro Fastroid. Having released the Nitro range in 2021, the brand has continued to push the limits of its performance range. Although the Fastroid isn’t a race legal shoe, it still pushed the boundaries of what’s possible from a running shoe.
Here’s a look at a few of the sneakers spotted on the runway.

Alongside the real-world fashion show, PUMA also launched a parallel metaverse experience. This was titled Black Station. Black Station was home to PUMA’s most innovative designs in fashion. With the experience, it hosts its own virtual show, while also including exclusive NFTs with limited edition redeemable physical sneakers.
The newly updated site will be an immersive and interactive place to experience the future of PUMA. Black Station will be a dynamic and interactive site, allowing it to connect with consumers in various activation formats.
The first experience launched last week, showcased an exclusive look at the Nitro NFRNO and Nitro Fastroid sneakers. This was linked to PUMA’s recently launched NFT NitroPass mint.
