PUMA has been setting the world alight of late, dropping new sneakers for fun. But, the company hasn’t relied simply on flooding the market but has offered a range of new and innovative shoes, focusing on design, style, materials, and even technology. PUMA has once again hit the mark with their latest release, the all-new PUMA HYBRID Rocket silhouette.
The HYBRID Rocket has been in the making for several years now, with the team working to develop the biggest running technology to date. After months of teases and exclusive events around the globe, PUMA has finally lifted the lid on the new shoe, giving life to the HYBRID Rocket. In recent years, PUMA has unveiled new technology in the form of the Ignite Foam, NRGY beads and the likes, which the design team has fused together to bring you the hottest style available today. The hybrid midsole is born, offering maximum performance, cushioning as well as energy return for longer, faster runs. The build is completed with the evoKnit upper, which provides instant comfort with its sock-like feel.
During your run, the Ignite Foam reacts immediately upon impact, providing the first level of energy return. The NRGY beads then come into play by providing cushioning, giving back to the Ignite Foam, absorbing energy, and creating an additional rebound effect as you lift off your stride. The technologies create HYBRID, a new and revolutionary sole. The silhouette also offers a bit of flair in its design, sporting a sleek, fashion-forward design with vibrant colours.
The PUMA HYBRID Rocket is set to drop on 12 July 2018, and will retail for R2,499. The shoe will be available at PUMA stores, and various other independent retailers.
